Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role will utilize telehealth technology to connect with clients, ensuring that therapy can be conducted seamlessly regardless of geographical barriers. You will engage in a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patients' schedules. This environment encourages collaboration among the clinical team through regular virtual meetings and case discussions, fostering a cohesive atmosphere even while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into clients' unique life experiences, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusting approaches based on clients’ cultural and personal contexts to optimize mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a variety of mental health concerns, helping clients build resilience and emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and assistance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competence and mental health best practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health therapy to continuously improve service provision.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy, demonstrating culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A strong commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
