Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based therapy interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing emotional regulation.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to better understand individual client backgrounds, stressors, and treatment goals, tailoring mindfulness strategies to meet their unique needs.

• Facilitate mindfulness sessions, such as guided meditations and breathing exercises, promoting self-reflection and emotional balance among clients.

• Lead interactive group workshops that focus on mindfulness and stress reduction techniques, fostering community and shared learning among participants.

• Maintain precise documentation of client progress and treatment interventions to ensure effective continuity of care.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with fellow clinicians and healthcare providers to integrate comprehensive mindfulness practices into client treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults seeking mental health support for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and traumatic experiences. Your expertise in mindfulness will serve as a valuable tool in helping clients develop practical coping mechanisms and lead more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• Demonstrated ability to integrate mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions, fostering a calming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
