e are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee daily pipe yard operations in the West Chester area. This position is responsible for supervising yard employees, coordinating loading and unloading activities, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory, warehouse, pipe yard, industrial, or PVF experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily yard operations and employee productivity.
• Supervise and direct yard employees in daily assignments.
• Ensure employees follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Address personnel issues and provide guidance to team members.
• Review and approve employee timesheets for payroll processing.
• Record incoming material and receipts into the Titan system .
• Supervise trucks being loaded and unloaded.
• Coordinate loading activities with customers and truck drivers.
• Load and unload pipe and other inventory onto flatbed trucks.
• Maintain proper organization of pipe and material throughout the yard.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor yard equipment to ensure it is operating safely and properly.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience working in a yard, warehouse, distribution, industrial, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing approximately 10–50 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally move materials weighing more than 100 lbs. with appropriate lifting equipment .
• Ability to work around trucks, pipe, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
• Must have sufficient vision and depth perception to safely perform yard and equipment duties.
