Work Environment

This role is based onsite, providing direct home care services, allowing you to connect with patients in the comfort of their own environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize patient's goals and treatment requirements while formulating individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a consistent patient caseload, typically handling one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated and quality-focused treatment.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic techniques designed to promote patient recovery and enhance range of motion.
• Explore non-invasive treatment options, aiming to reduce the need for medications and surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, focusing on evidence-based interventions.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs to foster patients' long-term health aligned with their capabilities.
• Motivate patients during their treatment processes, fostering a positive mindset to boost adherence and outcomes.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle practices, focusing on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers, sharing insights and coordinating care for optimal patient experiences.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and track patient progress, ensuring effective communication throughout their recovery journey.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and treatment services through electronic medical record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Your approach will center on enhancing function and mobility, enabling patients to return to their daily activities effectively. This patient population often seeks personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances, making your expertise crucial in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (MPT or DPT).
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in designing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating successful patient outcomes in physical therapy practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base and a deep understanding of the rehabilitation process specific to orthopedic care.
• A solid understanding of contemporary evidence-based practices and a commitment to continued learning and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet your financial and lifestyle needs, including:
