We are seeking dedicated professionals to support students in elementary grades 1, 3, and 4 as Functional Skills Instructional Assistants. This contract opportunity focuses on working one-on-one and in small group settings to foster meaningful academic and daily living skills for students with diverse learning needs. Qualifications & Experience:

• Missouri substitute teaching certificate or Paraprofessional certification required
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide preferred
• Familiarity with supporting children who require functional skills assistance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
• Positive, patient, and proactive approach when addressing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in grades 1, 3, and 4
• Assist with self-care routines, classroom activities, and transitions throughout the day
• Maintain effective communication with teachers and other school staff
• Monitor progress, document student performance, and contribute to team meetings
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
