Maintenance Manager within Stamping Environment

WHAT YOU’LL DO Work closely with all plant personnel to build and maintain a safety incident-free environment. Live Team! and Uphold Trust & Integrity. Enhance the preventive maintenance program for the company’s critical production assets to ensure that they are maintained and in working order at all times Initiating maintenance work orders as required and prepares cost justifications for major repairs or renovations Feasibility reviews, implementation, monitoring and measurement requirements for project status. Maintaining appropriate records regarding equipment, servicing, and safety Ensuring that the maintenance department is staffed with competent personnel in all positions and that their abilities are identified, developed and utilized Preparing and presents Goal & Objectives monthly metrics and provides corrective actions as necessary Ensuring safe working procedures and proper 5S practices are adhered to at all times Preparing schedules for all maintenance and select engineering projects Maintain/revise required OSHA Safety Plans including but not limited to providing training in Safety, Health and Environmental Essential Physical Requirements Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and doing repetitive motion tasks Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights and ceiling fans Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Must have excellent problem solving skills to applying the principles of root cause analysis Excellent communication skills for interaction with the workforce, its suppliers and customers Minimum of 5 years’ experience in plant maintenance Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and doing repetitive motion tasks Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights and ceiling fansWork is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise Must be able to work necessary overtime if required WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU We create a supportive environment where employees thrive!
