Responsibilities The Human Resources Director is responsible for the short and long term planning and management of the Human Resources functions. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to management on all associate related matters, promote a positive working culture where all our associates can thrive, and lead various functions including: Recruitment On-boarding Associate relations Diversity Payroll Benefits administration State and federal compliance Workers’ compensation Training and safety Qualifications A degree in Human Resources or related field 3-5 years’ experience in an HR management role in senior living, hospitality, health care, or other regulated environment In some circumstances, union experience is a plus Knowledge of Ceridian Payroll and Dayforce is preferred Experience with OnShift is a preferred skill Benefits administration experience Full knowledge of state and federal HR laws Excellent leadership skills Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, and online systems Benefits Competitive wages Excellent benefits package Immediate access to earned income through Dayforce Wallet Recognition and rewards program Vacation, holiday, and sick pay 401(k) program Associate discounts Education and training programs available EEO Statement Watermark Retirement Communities, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
