This individual will be responsible for establishing and executing growth plans via oversight of the entire Go-to-Market team, including: Sales, Sales Operations, Capture, Proposals, Solutions, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of driving growth across the Federal market, and direct experience with market entry.The ideal candidate must have a successful track record of driving sales through government and industry relationships, and ensuring sales executives are effectively closing deals through the Federal sales cycle. Working knowledge of the overall Federal agency structure, operating environment, major IT applications, and acquisition processes is required. The individual in this position should have exceptional communication skills with internal and external C-Level executives.Specific responsibilities for the role will include:• Sales leadership experience within a matrixed organization, e.g., SI, Professional Services and/or Management Consulting• Demonstrate success in driving growth in new markets• Large-scale pursuit orchestration ($100M–$1B+)• Pipeline management of a team with an annual TCV target of $750M+(GCV $400M+)• Hire, train, lead, and promote continuous development of sales professionals• Oversight of the Strategy function, ensuring alignment with growth initiatives• Foster a team of solution architects that can interact directly with current and prospective clients, and can also articulate detailed potential solutions in competitive proposals• Oversee the Proposal Center team, ensuring the development of compliant, compelling, and high-quality proposals that align with NTT DATA’s Federal growth strategy• Extensive client & industry relationships• Proven ability to develop, socialize and execute Go-to-Market strategies• Demonstrate successful experience working with interdisciplinary account teams, e.g., Delivery, Operations, Contracts, Pricing, and Talent Acquisition• Proven ability to employ solution-selling techniques to identify business needs and develop customized solutions to solve client business problems• Demonstrate success as a dynamic executive leader in customer relationship building, industry engagement and marketing efforts• Interface and broker discussions with Alliance partners and Teaming partners on behalf of Federal, in the pursuit of more strategic and large deal pipelineBasic Qualifications:• Minimum 20 years’ experience providing IT services to the US Federal government (Management Consulting or IT Professional Services)• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales. Advanced degree desirable• US citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance• This position will require intermittent travelPreferred Qualifications:• Demonstrated lasting relationships at the Federal CXO level and a proven ability to build relationships with new administration officials• Deep understanding of the federal procurement process and a demonstrated track record of working with clients to expand existing and close new business within that framework• Experience working with a wide array of Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQs) to expand revenue and profit• Experience building, coaching and mentoring a team of Sales Executives (new logo growth) and Client Executives (current client growth)About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
