About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development to spearhead the growth and capture strategy for Federal Civilian Accounts. This pivotal role is not just about pursuing opportunities; it's about leading the transformation of federal IT concepts into mission-critical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a national security growth strategy, leading the full lifecycle of opportunity management, and driving growth through targeted capture and expansion within key accounts. A key aspect of the role is to strategically position the company's offerings, including advanced technologies such as data analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and digital transformation, to meet the evolving needs of critical agencies. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in business development and capture, with a strong preference for those with at least 3 years' experience in Federal Civilian agencies. The role requires a proven track record of winning multi-million-dollar federal contracts, deep relationships within the Federal Civilian sector, and expertise in full-lifecycle capture and proposal development. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate client needs into service offerings, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to driving IT transformations. The position also involves client and industry engagement, including forging relationships with senior decision-makers and acting as a trusted advisor for mission modernization.
