As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and policy violations accurately and promptly, and provide clear reports to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
