About the Role

A private family is seeking a highly organized, and resourceful personal assistant to join our team. The role combines light administrative/logistics support with hands-on, in-person assistance at the home. You'll work on-site a few days per week and remain available by phone/email otherwise, reporting to and coordinating closely with a remote Head of Operations, who oversees operations and delegates tasks. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can move fluidly between errands, logistics, and ad hoc requests, representing the family with professionalism and discretion at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Errands & Logistics: Run errands (shopping, returns, pickups/drop-offs, prescription runs, gift purchasing, grocery runs, etc.)
• Dining & Reservations: Book and manage restaurant reservations, coordinate special requests, and handle last-minute changes
• Household Support: Liaise with home office vendors (cleaners, maintenance, deliveries) and manage grocery/pantry needs
• Ad Hoc Projects: Handle a wide variety of one-off tasks and requests as they arise — this role requires flexibility and a "no task too small" mindset
• Communication: Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for the remote Head of Operations, providing real-time updates, photos, or confirmations as needed, and relaying scheduling or logistics information as needed

Qualifications

• Open to entry-level candidates; prior personal assistant, household, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and a strong sense of confidentiality
• Highly responsive and comfortable coordinating closely with a remote supervisor via phone/text/email
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities in real time
• Comfortable in a home environment with a family present
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend needs remotely by phone
