Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to assist in achieving their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Work in close-knit collaboration with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy techniques to ensure ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the road to recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Commitment to continued education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
