Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions with a caseload of at least 25 clients, utilizing telehealth platforms to facilitate access to mental health services.

• Assessing clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Documenting therapy sessions, treatment progress, and any necessary follow-up actions in compliance with organizational policies using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care that addresses co-existing physical and emotional health considerations.

• Engaging in marketing and outreach activities for new client acquisition, contributing to the overall growth of the practice.

• Attending regular team meetings and participating in professional development to continually enhance therapeutic skills and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client focus will encompass adults requiring hospice care, who often face complex emotional and psychological challenges. This role requires sensitivity and a therapeutic approach that acknowledges clients' unique experiences during end-of-life care. Additionally, previous experience or comfort in working with diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community, is beneficial as we pride ourselves on providing inclusive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license in the State of California, ensuring your credentials are up to date for licensure practice.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, demonstrating your ability to work effectively with clients in therapeutic settings.

• Professional malpractice insurance to safeguard your practice and clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy, enhancing therapeutic interventions.

• Previous exposure to hospice care or end-of-life issues will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
