IT Help Desk Specialist

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 2 years of experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support.
• We need strong hands-on experience supporting macOS environments.
• We expect working knowledge of at least one MDM platform such as JAMF, Kandji/Iru, or Intune.
• We look for a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
• We require experience with user account administration in tools such as Microsoft 365 and DUO.
• We value excellent troubleshooting ability and a patient, service-focused approach.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• We prefer experience in a media, publishing, or creative services environment.
• We prefer certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or similar credentials.
• We prefer experience with enrollment and procurement in Apple Business Manager.

• We serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a primarily Mac-based environment, with some Windows support as needed.
• We diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, whether in person, remotely, or through our ticketing system.
• We maintain and support peripherals, printers, AV equipment, and conference room technology.
• We set up and configure Mac, and occasionally PC, workstations, accounts, and software for new hires.
• We manage user provisioning and deprovisioning across systems such as email, cloud applications, and VPN access.
• We coordinate equipment return, data handling, and access removal during offboarding.
• We manage device enrollment and MDM configuration, including tools such as Kandji/Iru and Apple Business Manager.
• We maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
• We support patching, updates, and endpoint security compliance.
• We assist with scripting or automation to streamline IT operations when applicable.
• We participate in infrastructure projects alongside senior IT staff.
