What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including infants to end-of-life patients
• Manage multiple acuity levels, including MedSurg, Stepdown, ICU, and trauma stabilization
• Administer treatments such as ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and stroke care (including TPA administration)
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure effective patient care and safety
• Document patient assessments and administer medications using EMR systems (Meditech Expanse)
• Support rapid response and stabilize patients in emergency situations
• Follow protocols for trauma, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, and medical emergencies

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years ED or emergency care experience
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB
• Strong skills in ventilator management, critical care protocols, and cardiac interpretation
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to assignment
