What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse ER patients, including infants to seniors, with various acuity levels and trauma cases.
• Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation, including EKG analysis.
• Administer medications, assist with procedures like splinting, and monitor hemodynamic lines (Art lines, CVP, etc.).
• Support patient stabilization and prepare patients for further treatment or transfer.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and specialized teams to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR system.
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

What You Need:

Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or ability to acquire one quickly
• 2+ years' ER or Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certification
• Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience managing critical care equipment and complex patient cases
• Prior experience in multispecialty ER units or trauma care
