Summary:

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, continuously monitoring their health and safety, assisting physicians during all procedures, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, educating and supporting patients and their families, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations in a high-volume, fast-paced labor and delivery unit.

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Hours/Week: 36
• Days/Week: 3

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate care)
• Provide patient-centered care considering age & psychosocial factors
• Document patient progress and care plans
• Assist with discharge planning & patient education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
