Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in community engagement activities aimed at promoting holistic wellness and actively contribute to building a sense of community among birthing individuals and families.

• Engage in clinical consultations and partake in multidisciplinary co-learning spaces to foster a culture of collaboration and shared learning.
\n
• Complete all required clinical documentation efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and relevant regulations.
\n
• Provide direct services that include behavioral health assessments, counseling sessions, and case management tailored specifically to the needs of Black birthing families.
\n
• Collaborate closely with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, and lactation consultants, to ensure comprehensive and quality integrated care for clients.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups in partnership with experienced birth workers, fostering an empowering learning environment for new parents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will specifically focus on serving Black birthing families, ensuring access to culturally responsive services that respect and honor their unique experiences. You will help clients navigate the complexities of mental health care during a pivotal stage in their lives and provide continuity of care that fosters healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Eligible candidates must possess a valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to practice in California.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse and multidisciplinary colleagues, clients, and community members.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, ask for support when necessary, and maintain high standards in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with birthing individuals and families, particularly within culturally diverse communities.

• Experience in integrative health care settings or community-based programs is highly desirable.

• Previous involvement in childbirth education or group facilitation experience is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
