Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial assessments through thorough interviews to gauge clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Lead engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, to facilitate personal growth and recovery.

• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in accordance with established treatment objectives.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance intervention strategies that address complex mental health challenges.

• Assist in coordinating referrals and follow-up care for patients transitioning to higher levels of care if necessary.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers to empower them in managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.

• Proactively identify and mitigate any behaviors or risk factors that may hinder recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals of all ages facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, addiction disorders, and familial relational challenges. As a counselor, you will be dedicated to understanding their unique backgrounds and perspectives, allowing you to develop meaningful therapeutic alliances that enhance their overall treatment experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in managing mental health cases, ideally in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Solid understanding of substances and their impact on mental health, complemented by knowledge of treatment for co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
