Territory Manager - Manhattan

Becton Dickinson seeks a Territory Manager for Manhattan to drive sales growth of medical technology products within an assigned territory. The role combines direct sales responsibilities with technical support, customer education, and account development for healthcare facilities and surgical teams.
Responsibilities
- Attain sales goals and grow revenue from current and new accounts within territory
- Provide on-site technical support and training to surgeons, OR staff, and hospital personnel on product use
- Maintain detailed product knowledge and ensure surgeons have current product information
- Develop new prospects, manage customer relationships, and resolve complaints
- Attend industry meetings and tradeshows; report findings and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years general sales experience; medical sales preferred
- Strong interpersonal, oral communication, organizational and planning skills
- Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to meet auto safety standards
- Ability to travel at least 60%, including overnight travel
- Understanding of contract administration and group purchasing principles
- Familiarity with medical and surgical terminology preferred
Compensation: $125,992–$207,888 base plus incentive
