Accounts Payable Lead

Accounts Payable Lead Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization, is hiring an Accounts Payable Lead to join our growing team! Based at our Edina, MN corporate office, you'll join a supportive team dedicated to serving our senior living communities. The Accounts Payable Lead supports daily AP operations, resolves complex invoice and payment issues, and serves as a resource for the AP team. This role works closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing and improve team workflows. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position. This is an on-site position in Edina, Minnesota. Shift Available: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wage Range: $63,000 - $65,000 Annually depending on experience Location: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439 Accounts Payable Lead Responsibilities: Enter invoices accurately and timely into the Sage accounting system. Analyze invoices and expense reports to assign expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers. Assist with planning and preparing weekly payments for assigned locations. Create and maintain vendor records in Sage. Work with vendors, accounting managers, facility administrators, and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues. Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve complex billing discrepancies. Assist with annual 1099 reporting and audits. Ensure AP policies and procedures are followed. Monitor shared invoices and help distribute daily workloads across the team. Serve as the first point of contact for escalated processing questions and provide support with complex invoices. Partner with the Accounts Payable Manager to improve workflows and support team goals. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Accounts Payable Lead Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. Accounting Certificate or Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred. Previous ERP or accounting software experience required; Sage Intacct preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
