Associate Director, HR Employee Partner Leader (Hybrid)

Job Overview Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Associate Director, Human Resources Employee Partner Leader to lead a team of HR Partners supporting over 2,500 salaried leaders and employees in the Commercial Engines, Military Engines, and Group Functions. The role is based onsite in East Hartford, CT and requires a high‑energy, self‑starter who can drive key HR initiatives, promote an inspiring culture, and lead through large organizational and functional change. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners, building a strong performance culture, elevating employee engagement, and resolving complex employee matters. Coach and develop leaders to build innovative, high‑performing teams aligned with the RTX People Strategy. Lead implementation of employee relations, leadership development, and communication strategies that advance organizational objectives. Resolve complex organizational problems that matter most to employees, leaders, and the HR function. Develop a team of HR Partners while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, belonging, and functional excellence. Build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leaders to provide advice and counsel on employee-related and organizational matters as an employee advocate and coach. Partner with leadership to implement and raise awareness of HR programs that support business goals and deliver results in a complex matrix environment. Support People Strategy through positive employee relations, monitor and proactively address engagement risks, and drive engagement strategy with employee surveys. Partner with leadership on workforce planning activities, recruiting, and retention strategy, efforts, and programs. Conduct internal investigations with professionalism, discretion, and integrity; recommend appropriate actions and resolutions. Drive human resource compliance, ensuring standardization and consistency in the application of HR and Company practices and policies. Maintain compliance with all applicable governmental regulations, EH&S policies, and other regulatory requirements. Lead and support special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in a Human Resources role; or an advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in a Human Resources role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing multiple, often conflicting priorities while maintaining positive relationships with customers. Direct people leadership experience. Professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information. Strong background and experience in employee relations and manufacturing preferred. Commitment to positive workplace culture and ethical decision making. Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities. High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information. Fluency in Workday and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree (MBA/MS/MA) in Human Resources or related field. Extensive experience in employee relations and manufacturing contexts. Salary Range $157,200 – $298,800 USD. The salary is a good faith estimate and may vary based on experience, education, and role responsibilities. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
