This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still making a significant impact on our clients' lives. We ensure that our counselors have access to the necessary technology and platforms, such as electronic health record systems like AVATAR, to facilitate seamless workflow and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations during initial client consultations, ensuring accurate documentation from the outset.

• Assess and analyze clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify suitable treatment strategies.
\n
• Develop targeted intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, or groups, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting care plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention plans.

• Stay in regular communication with client caregivers and family members, providing support and guidance on managing behavioral challenges.

• Stay abreast of best practices in mental health care by engaging in continuous professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Your role will entail working closely with individuals of all ages, employing evidence-based practices that cater to their unique needs. Our inclusive approach ensures that we honor the individuality of each client while fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on diverse therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, with experience in the AVATAR system considered a significant asset.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an exceptional ability to connect with clients.

• A solid background in addressing substance use disorders and interpersonal relationships.

• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams in clinical settings.

• In-depth knowledge regarding the interrelation of physical and mental health conditions and the impact of medications on clients’ treatment processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
