About the Role
Hyland is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Overlay Sales Executive to sell our Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) solutions and services to new and existing customers across all industry verticals in EMEA. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, partner closely with account executives and solution engineers, and serve as a trusted expert and thought leader for your assigned product portfolio. Here's What You'll Do
- Develop a comprehensive sales plan and strategy to continuously grow pipeline through partners, user groups, and tradeshows, while communicating accurate, real-time sales forecasting to leadership.
- Enable, coach, and train fellow Hylanders on the CIC offering to best position them for long-term success in generating opportunities across their territories.
- Partner with account managers to identify new opportunities for the CIC portfolio within current customers and prospects, qualifying leads and supporting the full sales cycle from discovery through RFP and close.
- Leverage deep expertise to educate potential customers on the benefits of Hyland's solutions, serving as a thought leader and collaborating with marketing to develop compelling sales collateral.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success to translate the value of CIC from a customer's perspective and influence the future product roadmap and adoption strategies.
- Ensure seamless transitions of new prospects from pre-sale through implementation handoff, while actively maintaining CRM records and providing guidance and support to other sales team members.
Role Essentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with significant experience in an overlay sales capacity or complex, value-based selling environment, and deep knowledge of AI or agentic-led technology solutions.
- Proven year-over-year sales generation success, with proficiency in opportunity management and account planning tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrating a professional demeanor, with the ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and interact with others with discretion and tact.
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to gain consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels, combined with strong collaboration skills across teams.
- Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking, self-motivated, and able to manage work independently to completion. Up to 50% travel time required.
What We'd Like to See
- Experience selling enterprise AI or agentic-led software solutions in the EMEA market, with a strong understanding of regional business culture and buying dynamics.
- Familiarity with Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) solutions or related enterprise content management and intelligent automation platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust partner ecosystem, including resellers, system integrators, and technology alliances.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, solution engineering, and services teams to drive end-to-end sales cycles.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to C-suite and senior stakeholders across diverse EMEA markets.
