Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand the mental health status of clients, utilizing structured interviews and evidence-based assessment tools.

• Design personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, integrating therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide regular one-on-one therapy sessions focused on skill development and self-care strategies to empower clients in their journey towards mental well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care.
\n
• Document all interactions and progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems meticulously to reflect treatment plans, client progress, and any adjustments to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base including individuals facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and addiction issues. Emphasizing cultural competence, you will tailor your approach to respect and react to each individual's background, values, and experiences, ensuring that they feel understood and validated in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of four years of direct, relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in a telehealth format.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, including a demonstrated ability to apply these in a culturally sensitive manner.

• Outstanding crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor to handle challenging situations effectively.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, as well as general computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries in all client interactions.
