This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while supporting our community in Memphis. Your typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aligning with standard business hours. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Create customized treatment plans by collaborating closely with clients to set specific, achievable goals based on their individual needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit client requirements.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, guiding them through treatment options and self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the most effective outcomes.

• Engage in team-based discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to foster comprehensive care.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Document all client interactions accurately and confidentially, meeting legal and ethical guidelines to uphold professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals facing mood disorders, which can include a wide range of clients from varying demographics. Your role will involve engaging with diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client while building therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Expertise in therapeutic modalities focused on mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• A proven history of achieving successful treatment outcomes in mood disorder therapy.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
