Bright Minds Crisis Intervention Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) to join our remote full-time team. Work Environment\n

This position will be based remotely, allowing for flexible working conditions while still being integrated into our supportive team environment. The outpatient care setting ensures that you can focus on direct therapeutic engagements with clients, maintaining a work-life balance that encourages personal and professional growth. You will work from home, primarily during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, following all legal and ethical standards of practice.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care best practices.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on clients who have experienced significant trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play an essential role in creating a safe space where individuals can explore their feelings and challenges. Understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is required.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.
\n
• Strong capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
