Neuroscience Progressive Care RN - $32-48 per hour

Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Progressive Care Unit – Nights (Valley Park, Missouri) Position Overview Join a fast-paced, 21‑bed progressive care unit that specializes in stroke, brain injury, seizures, and post‑neurosurgical patients. The unit is located in the Plaza Tower and bridges ICU and general care, providing continuous telemetry and advanced neuro monitoring. This RN role works closely with neurologists, a full interdisciplinary team, and a dedicated nurse educator to deliver high‑acuity, collaborative patient care. Key Responsibilities Promote patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness or injury management, including post‑treatment home care and medication administration. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Proactively plan and communicate the plan of care across the continuum of care. Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills. Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including cultural and spiritual needs. Maintain safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (no experience required). Licensure: Current RN license. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Less than 2 years of experience. Position Highlights $15,000 sign‑on bonus eligible. Three (12) hour night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Weekend requirement every third weekend. Flexible scheduling. Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) exam eligible after 1 year. Benefit eligibility first day of month after start. 401(k) with match.
