Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges faced by clients.

• Developing, implementing, and modifying personalized treatment plans based on assessments and client progress, ensuring continuous alignment with patient goals.

• Diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based interventions to foster growth and change.

• Providing referrals to community resources, specialized treatment programs, support groups, and other mental health professionals, as needed, to enhance client well-being.

• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to create discharge planning and ensure continuity of care for all clients.

• Advocating for clients and their families, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among care teams to resolve any issues or delays in treatment.

• Staying compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as clinical standards and guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals seeking mental health support in the outpatient setting. This includes children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a range of issues from anxiety disorders and depression to trauma and relationship struggles. Your empathetic approach will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and work towards meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current state license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or Psychologist.

• Demonstrable experience in the mental health field, particularly within community mental health settings.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing for productive interactions with clients and colleagues.

• Strong ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
