Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers, facilitating communication and coordinated care.

• Engage with insurance companies to secure pre-certification and manage utilization reviews, ensuring clients' access to necessary services.

• Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare strategies, preparing clients for a seamless transition from detox to ongoing treatment.

• Provide therapeutic meal support, assisting clients in developing healthy relationships with food and nutrition as part of their recovery process.

• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care that honors the unique identities and intersecting backgrounds of each client.

• Document client progress and treatment plans in adherence to established guidelines, maintaining accurate and timely records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients in a detox setting, many of whom are overcoming substance use disorders. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing tailored interventions that address both their mental health needs and recovery challenges. Understanding trauma and its effects is critical, as many clients have experienced significant life disruptions before entering treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LCSW license in California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
