Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, identifying unique needs and treatment goals.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy interventions based on assessment findings and ongoing evaluations.

• Maintain thorough and organized documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations within specified timelines to comply with regulatory standards.

• Develop crisis plans and safety protocols for patients in high-risk situations, alongside wellness and relapse prevention plans that support ongoing recovery.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans that outline the next steps for patient self-management.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state laws as well as organizational policies ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

• Actively pursue continued education opportunities to enhance professional development and clinical skills.

• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to the overarching goal of improving care quality.

• Fulfill all licensure requirements, including mandatory training and ongoing educational credits.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Genworth Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.
