Job Title Manufacturing Engineer II Reporting To Manager, Manufacturing Eng. Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer II to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing (or related) role. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and data compilation/analysis. Experience working in a team environment. Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other disciplines across the business. As a Manufacturing Engineer II, You Will Work and maintain confidential information. Support and mentor lower level manufacturing engineers. Serve as the support for the Slip Ring production line and Outsource Vendors. Oversee manufacturing process development with a domestic and international team. Create engineering and tool drawings, order and support manufacturing tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layout, quotes, and continuous improvement. Review and respond to request for quotes on new orders. Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability. Travel off‑side domestically and internationally. Enforce and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements such as ITAR. Provide reports to management on daily, weekly, and monthly performance to schedules and expenditures. Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog. Cross‑train to help in other areas. Complete any other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or operations manager. Salary Range Transparency Blacksburg, VA $80,000.00–$100,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
