Finance Assistant - Finance Department – Tenafly Borough. Full-time (population 15,500). Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our Finance Department. Responsible for a variety of accounts payable and administrative functions, including maintaining vendor records and required documentation. Prepare bill lists, print and distribute checks. Maintain purchase order files, process stop payments, and handle Open Public Records Act (OPRA) requests. Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer/Tax Collector and perform related duties as needed within the department. Qualifications: Two years of municipal experience, preferably in Accounts Payable. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization skills and the ability to adhere to resolution deadlines for submission of the bill list. Experience with Edmunds software is highly desirable. The Borough offers participation in a pension plan, a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000, and health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off, including holidays, is provided.
