We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee accurate and timely payroll operations for a large employee population in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who can manage complex multi-state payroll activities, maintain compliance with tax regulations, and improve the efficiency of payroll processes. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for payroll administration, reconciliations, and issue resolution while supporting a high standard of accuracy and service as a team of one.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for around 500 employees, ensuring pay is delivered accurately and on schedule.

• Administer bi-monthly payroll cycles, including review of approved timesheets, payroll calculations, deductions, and adjustments.

• Manage payroll activity across multiple states while ensuring compliance with applicable wage, hour, and tax regulations.

• Oversee payroll tax filings, reporting, and related payments to maintain full regulatory compliance.

• Perform reconciliations and payroll audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Maintain and optimize payroll records and workflows within ADP Workforce Now.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to address payroll questions, resolve processing concerns, and support reporting needs.

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll in a high-volume environment.

• Strong working knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and payroll tax requirements.

• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.

• Background processing bi-monthly payroll and weekly payroll with a high degree of accuracy.
