. This is an on-site, contract position designed for an Associate-level physician who is ready to provide high-quality urological care in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this Locum Urology role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients with conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Your clinical expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing accessible, compassionate, and innovative treatment within the Medical Practice industry. Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate disorders.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as cystoscopy, urodynamic studies, and imaging evaluations.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate follow-up treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct minimally invasive surgical procedures and assist in complex urological surgeries as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, preventive care, and post-operative recovery.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency urological care when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Stay current with advancements in urology and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or active candidacy in Urology is strongly preferred.
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona or willingness to obtain licensure prior to assignment.
• Proven experience in urology at an associate level, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex patient cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site medical practice environment while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation practices.
• Commitment to ethical medical practices, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, essential for locum tenens assignments and evolving clinical needs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Patient Volume: 25

Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities: Provide care for new and existing patients

Required Procedures: Cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, vasectomies, and robotic and non-robotic surgeries

Support Staff: Medical assistant

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and DEA
