Staff Accountant (Real Estate) - Addison - 80k-90k

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for a large real estate organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and has experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to process improvements while supporting a collaborative accounting team. Job Responsibilities Prepare high-volume journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Complete bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations. Review balance sheets and income statements to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support the month-end close process and meet established reporting deadlines. Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights. Assist with recurring and ad hoc financial analyses and reporting requests. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, including support for SOX compliance and internal controls. Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional accounting teams. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. 1+ years of accounting experience, including financial statement preparation preferred. Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with Yardi or other property management/accounting software is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
