Bilingual Portuguese Call Center Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW

Remote Work-at-Home | Canada. MCI is hiring Bilingual Call Center Representatives to provide outstanding support in both English and Portuguese. Applicants must complete the full application on our careers page.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle inbound and outbound calls in English and Portuguese. Translate and communicate clearly across both languages. Assist customers with billing, account updates, and general inquiries. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department. Follow company policies and procedures for customer interactions. Meet daily and monthly performance goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior experience in a bilingual customer service role is preferred.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based. Must be willing to submit up to a Level II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary, sitting or standing for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset, operating other office equipment. The employee may occasionally need to move about the office, reach, pick up objects, and exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
