Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans that promote recovery and well-being.
• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic services focusing on rehabilitation of motion, strength, and functionality using evidence-based practices.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities to enhance patient recovery, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload to ensure optimal care delivery while maintaining thorough documentation in EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners including physicians, occupational therapists, and dietitians to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, modifying treatment approaches as needed to enhance efficacy.
• Encourage and guide patients in adhering to their rehabilitation programs, providing motivation and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Facilitate wellness programs aimed at increasing patients' strength, flexibility, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and a strong foundation in exercise program design.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices supported by research findings.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with patients and team members alike.
