Cross Country Physical Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia. Work Environment

This role is set in a home care environment, allowing you to provide personalized therapy services where patients feel most comfortable – their own homes. You'll be working Monday through Friday, with work hours typically from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their needs and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement diverse therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and utilizing specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatment responses and adjusting care plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients and their families through training on therapeutic exercises, safe use of assistive devices, and strategies for effective self-care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care for patients, enhancing their recovery journey.
• Stay up-to-date with continuing education and current trends in physical therapy to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele you will serve includes a diverse range of patients of various ages and backgrounds, primarily in the home care setting. You will work with individuals recovering from acute injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic conditions, and long-term ailments, delivering care that is tailored to their unique circumstances and environments.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy is necessary.
• At least two years of relevant experience is expected, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient needs effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to connect with patients and their families, as well as liaise with other health team members effectively.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical record systems will be advantageous.
• A flexible, agile mindset and a passion for patient-centered care are vital for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health or outpatient therapy settings.
• Knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
• Background working with assistive devices and adaptive strategies for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflecting your experience and dedication.
