Work Environment

This role is performed onsite in the comfort of patients' homes, bringing high-quality physical therapy directly to those who need it most. You will be part of a supportive team comprised of experienced healthcare professionals, including two other physical therapists, all focused on delivering tailored treatments. The work schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with flexible hours primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and tailor treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
• Implement various treatment techniques aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Engage with patients on a one-on-one basis, dedicating approximately 40 minutes per session to maximize progress.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote rehabilitation and wellness, continually adapting treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle modifications that encourage independence and reduce reliance on medication or invasive procedures.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document all care services accurately for compliance and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat patients facing orthopedic challenges, including athletes and individuals seeking recovery from injuries or surgeries. Your focus will include restoring balance, enhancing strength, and maximizing physical function through specialized therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's specific goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required, with a graduate degree such as a master's (MS) or Doctorate (DPT) preferred.
• At least two years of professional experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients of varying personalities, ensuring a comfortable healing environment.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for patient advocacy is crucial.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology integration in treatment is a plus.
• Proficiency in developing individualized wellness plans based on evidence-based guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Alongside competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses:
