Work Environment

This role will operate primarily in an onsite home care setting where you will visit patients at their residences throughout Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. This unique environment allows you to form strong relationships with your patients while providing care in a familiar and comfortable setting. In addition to client visits, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis, goals, and lifestyle.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to optimize patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on the nature of their conditions, therapy interventions, and home exercise programs to promote self-management.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly while documenting all findings in compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in professional development activities, including attending workshops, seminars, and staff meetings to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Empower Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
