Employment Litigation Associate

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Employment Litigation Associate role based in Needham, MA. The associate will manage a caseload of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and contract disputes, from intake through resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, participating in depositions, and preparing cases for hearings and trial. The role involves regular interaction with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, as well as collaboration with partners and staff to develop case strategy and ensure timely, high-quality work product. The associate will also support compliance and advisory work for employer and employee clients, helping identify risks and practical solutions to workplace issues. Qualifications Strong foundation in employment Law , including familiarity with federal and Massachusetts statutes and regulations. Experience drafting and responding to Motions , pleadings, and other litigation documents. Proficiency in legal Research , including case law analysis and application to complex fact patterns. Skill in conducting and defending Depositions , and managing discovery strategy. Comfort appearing before Courts , handling hearings, and supporting trial preparation. J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the Massachusetts bar. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with careful attention to detail and deadlines. Ability to manage multiple matters, work collaboratively in a small firm environment, and exercise sound judgment.
