About the Position

Our client in MA is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment. This role involves providing inpatient critical care, focusing on ICU and Med Surg cases, including some burn patients. The schedule offers flexibility with day or night shifts (6a-7p or 6p-7a), preferring four weekend shifts per month, with a minimum of two required. Responsibilities include rounding with attending physicians and acting as a responding clinician, without performing complex procedures such as intubations or line insertions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage bread and butter ICU and Med Surg cases.
• Care for 1 to 2 burn patients.
• Round with the Attending Physician in the morning, complete tasks, and round again in the afternoon.
• Act as a responding clinician only.
• Focus on adult patient age groups.
• Do not perform intubations, lines, vents, transplants, ECHO, heads, EVD, or complex neuro stroke procedures.
• No procedures will be performed.
