Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic in Fremont, California, is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team. Our friendly and knowledgeable team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to create a motivating environment conducive to healing.

Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic, you will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility, providing hands-on care in a supportive and professional environment. Our practice operates with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life experience while serving a primarily privately insured patient population. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and be part of a close-knit team that values teamwork and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions, identifying their specific rehabilitation needs through in-depth assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Maintain an optimal patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives unparalleled attention.
• Conduct hands-on therapy sessions, providing guidance on exercises aimed at improving flexibility, strength, and mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy skills to alleviate pain and enhance mobility, drawing on best practices and proven methodologies.
• Minimize patients' reliance on medications by offering cost-effective non-surgical treatment alternatives.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely into our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Regularly communicate with patients and their families to provide support and motivate them through their treatment journeys.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordination.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.

Our facility primarily serves individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Patients typically have private medical insurance, allowing for personalized care plans that cater to their individual needs and circumstances. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California without any disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a proven ability to develop concise, effective exercise routines.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Exemplary communication skills to connect with patients and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a team-based approach in a clinical setting.
• Proven track record of effectively motivating patients to adhere to treatment plans.
• Familiarity with specific treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
