• Shift: In-house coverage; no call, 10-14 patients per day (non-ICU), 6 ICU patients

• Experience: Trauma and critical care experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a trauma hospitalist, primarily managing adult and adolescent patient rounds
• Respond to trauma alerts in the ED and facilitate patient discharges
• Manage admissions from the Emergency Department
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, central and arterial lines, and non-invasive ventilator management
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Assist with documentation and patient management using Epic EMR
• Work independently within established guidelines and protocols

What You Need:

• Active Minnesota PA or Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience with trauma emergent care and critical care procedures
• Key Skills: trauma response, patient assessment, procedural proficiency
• Preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or equivalent)
• Required: Ability to handle all patient conditions independently, responsive to ED trauma alerts
• Additional: Surgical/trauma critical care background preferred
