Work Environment\n

This role offers a dynamic work setting that allows for effective remote service delivery while also participating in outpatient office appointments. You will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive treatment and support. Your schedule will offer flexibility, with operational hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing you to manage your professional commitments alongside personal needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center, your duties will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the experiences and needs of patients and devise appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience in clients.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinical professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for all clients.
\n
• Providing necessary crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards while ensuring quality service delivery.

• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development training focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying up to date with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy for continuous improvement and effective service provision.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be considered for this role:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards client interactions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n
