Who we are looking forBusiness Analyst with strong experience in project management, analysis, workflow design, data analysis, and business architecture in order to create client solutions and execute implementation of the Alpha front-to-back client servicing platform. Individual will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of State Street Core Data (SSCD), Data Quality framework as a member of an Agile scrum team. Analyze the data quality framework to understand their current state, perform gap analysis and propose future state that meets business as well as technical requirements. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.What you will be responsible forAs SoftWare Developer Analyst you willBe responsible for designing Data quality solutions and onboarding new clients onto State Street’s front-to-back platformLead workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architectureContribute to various stages of the SDLC (solution design, integration and testing, implementation, and operational readiness).Become a product and platform SME on State Street’s Alpha Data Quality platformParticipate in code reviewsActively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesTriage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and come up with solutionsWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExtensive Knowledge of Financial Data and platformsIBOR and ABOR data knowledgeUnderstanding of Cloud Computing; Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWSSnowflake and SQLStrong analytical, reconcilement and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as independentlyExperience in Agile Methodology and tools (i.e., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferredEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above. 10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services, and data domains.Client engagement and expectation management across project life cycleKnowledge of financial data and platformsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skillsAbility to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector (Math background highly desirable)Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environmentExperience working with an Agile development methodology is desiredAdditional requirementsAbility to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to the business needsStrong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.Strong collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various locations in an agile environment.Salary Range: $110,000 - $185,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
