Work Environment\n

As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work remotely within a structured setting that allows you to prioritize your role as a mental health therapist. You will engage with students and their families either directly through virtual consultations or indirectly by collaborating with school staff to enhance the overall support system for our clients. While our position primarily adheres to regular business hours, occasional evenings and weekends may be necessary based on client needs and program activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and understand clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges that impact their academic and personal lives.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that encompass specific goals, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring.

• Provide therapeutic counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing various life challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to each unique situation.

• Collaborate with clients to devise personalized service strategies while connecting them with community resources to enhance their support network.

• Offer crisis intervention, including risk assessments and personalized safety planning when necessary, enabling clients to navigate difficult situations effectively.

• Engage with community agencies and organizations to coordinate service delivery and advocate for client needs within the broader social service landscape.

• Conduct community outreach activities to decrease barriers to services and promote awareness about mental health resources available through the agency.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to continually enhance service delivery and personal development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse client base, primarily composed of students and their families. This population often faces challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and socio-economic issues. By providing tailored counseling and support, you will help these individuals not only manage their immediate concerns but also equip them with the tools necessary for long-term resilience and adaptability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
