Work Environment\n

As a remote practice, we offer a digital work environment that embraces flexibility and innovation. Our telehealth facility allows for seamless interactions with clients, prioritizing safety and comfort while maintaining high-quality care. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we recognize the need for flexibility to accommodate patient requests and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of clients and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Facilitating psychoeducational groups to provide clients with tools and insights related to their mental health issues, fostering community support among participants.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create and implement coordinated patient care plans that encompass both psychological and biological aspects of treatment.

• Providing crisis intervention services and immediate support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
\n
• Educating clients on their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and enrich professional development.

• Staying informed about the latest developments in the mental health field to integrate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and the development of multi-faceted treatment strategies.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to varied patient populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective therapeutic relationships.

• Professional integrity, sound judgement, and a commitment to ethical practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated effective management of diverse clinical cases involving complex mental health issues.

• Experience in telehealth and digital therapeutic practices is highly desirable.
