Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. The role requires a reliable internet connection and the capability to conduct sessions virtually, ensuring that care remains accessible. You will work closely with school contacts, interns, and various healthcare professionals, promoting a collaborative approach to meeting the needs of our client population.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy services to clients via telehealth, employing effective therapeutic techniques to address various social and emotional challenges.
• Provide clinical supervision and support for interns, aiding in their professional development through performance evaluations, caseload monitoring, and necessary documentation tasks.
• Engage in regular consultations with school site contacts, medical professionals, and family members to coordinate care and address client needs effectively.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement audits of client records, ensuring compliance with agency policies, state requirements, and funding regulations.
• Contribute to the recruitment, training, and onboarding process for interns and trainees, including the facilitation of workshops and compliance training.
• Ensure the maintenance and organization of client files, adhering to all confidentiality guidelines and legal requirements.
• Prepare and submit client and programmatic reports as required, as well as participate in agency meetings and training sessions to further enhance skill sets.
• Address safety and maintenance issues promptly to create a secure working environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role serves a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, and families. The LCSW will focus on addressing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and social adjustments within a school setting. Collaborative care models are encouraged, involving multidisciplinary teams that support holistic treatment for clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Current residency in the United States with the capability to provide telehealth services.
• A stable and reliable internet connection is essential for delivering virtual therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within a school-based setting will be highly advantageous, as will familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AWARDS. Additionally, previous involvement in intern supervision and training may enhance your candidacy. Candidates with a track record of successfully implementing psychoeducational programs and workshops will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
